Lee Marsh is Lay Catholic Chaplain for the Academic Year 2018/19

Hi! I’m Lee, and I am the Lay Catholic Chaplain. As a former student of the University, where I studied Physics with Medical Physics, I am familiar with university life and the city of Nottingham, and am looking forward to spending another year here getting to know you all!

I grew up in Kettering, (never heard of it? We have THE Weetabix Factory), before moving full-time to Nottingham in 2017. I now live in “Newman House” (the Catholic Chaplaincy House) with five amazing Catholic students. It was during my first year as a student that I found the University’s Catholic Society, which led me to greatly deepen my faith, as well as meeting so many new people!

When I am not busy being Lay Chaplain, I like to dabble with creative writing, and am also an avid watcher of cheesy 80s movies; if you are looking for someone who knows their Flashdance from their Footloose, I am the person! Other pastimes include creating funny videos, playing Chess and literally anything involving food (the more the better!).
