I would like to welcome all old and new students alike  to the University of Nottingham and in particular to our active and vibrant Catholic community, as we prepare to  begin a new academic year together.

We have lots of things planned both in the Catholic Chaplaincy and the Catholic Society for this new term. More to Come!!!

A reminder though that  Sunday Mass resumes again, this Sunday 22nd September at 11 am, in the Great Hall, Trent Building, University Campus. This week as we prepare for Welcome Week we shall offer a  simple said Mass.

Sunday 29th September we shall offer a Mass of the  Holy Spirit, as we seek God’s blessing on our year ahead together. This will be a Catholic community Mass, with music from our student musicians and singers, followed by coffee and tea provided by the Catholic Society, with a time to re connect with new and old friends.

Weekday Masses Resume:

Tuesday 8th October- Exposition  with Benediction from 4.30-5pm (Portland Chapel- along the corridor from Mouch Bar, ground floor, Portland Building) -Followed by Mass at 5.15 pm.

Friday 11th October – Rosary at 12 noon followed by Mass at 12.15 pm (Jubilee Campus in the Open Room, XU Yafen Building) then fish and chip lunch together in Aspire Cafe.

I look forward to catching up with you in the weeks ahead – Father Jonathan
